Please try the following:
- On your iPad, exit the LeapFrog Academy app
- Open Control Center by swiping up from the bottom of your iPad screen
- Check the bell icon (mute) shown below
- If it is red, tap it to disable the mute function
- Launch LeapFrog Academy again and check to see if the sound is working correctly
