- "Companion audio" is the audio file that accompanies LeapReader physical books (thus enabling them to be interactive with LeapReader). It is free with the purchase of the physical book.
- A LeapReader "audio book" is a recording of a book being read aloud that can be played through the media player functionality on LeapReader. With each purchase of a physical book, you get a free audio book of that same story.
- LeapReader Music consists of songs, albums, and playlists that can be played through the media player functionality on LeapReader.
- A LeapReader "trivia challenge" is an audio file of fun facts and trivia around a certain topic (space, geography, science, etc.).
