We have a My Pal Scout/Violet (Smarty Paws) and it only plays 5 seconds of bedtime music.
The toy is set to Try-Me mode in the package. To activate normal play mode, switch the On/Off/Volume Control Switch to (OFF) and then back to (HIGH VOLUME ) to activate normal play mode
