The LeapFrog Epic is an Android based tablet which is not intended to be fully compatible with LeapPad tablets.
The LeapFrog Epic tablet does feature compatibility to hundreds of the most popular LeapFrog apps. If you previously purchased apps for a LeapPad, check the product description page for that app in the LeapFrog App Center for compatibility information with the LeapFrog Epic tablet. Compatible apps that you originally purchased for LeapPad can be installed on the LeapFrog Epic tablet, up to the five device limit for any purchased app.
Game cartridges purchased for a LeapPad are not compatible with the LeapFrog Epic tablet. The LeapFrog Epic tablet features a micro SD card slot rather than a cartridge slot.
