Scout/Violet's collar is flashing

The flashing collar indicates the back door is open. It does not indicate Scout/Violet is connected to the computer. If you have Scout/Violet connected with the collar flashing but the LeapFrog Connect application does not seem to detect the device, try the following:

 

1) Turn the power off and on by pressing the paw.

 

2) Disconnect and then reconnect the USB cable.
