Note: The Leapster2 was last sold in 2012 and is no longer supported. The LeapFrog Connect software for this product is offered as-is.
1) Make sure you have downloaded to your computer the LeapFrog Connect application for Leapster2. If you own another LeapFrog device that uses the LeapFrog Connect application (Tag, Didj, Crammer), you will still need to download the Leapster2 LeapFrog Connect application to get the correct plug in on your computer.
2) Be sure to follow the correct steps when connecting: Launch LeapFrog Connect, plug the Leapster2 into your computer, turn the Leapster2 on.
3) If you are still experiencing difficulty, follow steps 1 and 2, but connect the Leapster2 to a different USB port on your computer.
4) If you are still experiencing difficulty and have an SD card inserted, remove the SD card and connect again. If your computer is not recognizing the SD card as a writeable device, it may cause the computer to not recognize the Leapster 2 correctly. Note: this step does not apply to Leapster2's that have a built in SD card.
