LeapPad1 or LeapPad2 screen not responding to stylus

If the LeapPad screen is not responding correctly to the stylus pen, your screen may need to be calibrated.

To calibrate the screen:

1) Power on your LeapPad.

2) Simultaneously hold down the Home button and volume up button. This will bring you to the Parent Settings menu.

3) On the Parent Settings menu, select the "Screen Calibration" option by either touching it, or arrowing up to it if the screen is totally unresponsive. If you arrow up to "Screen Calibration" click the right D-Pad button to advance to the next screen.

4) Five "+" signs will appear on this page one at a time.  Click the center of each "+" sign to complete the calibration.

Please Note: make sure there is no debris either on the screen of your LeapPad, or stuck between the screen and the casing. Any debris applying constant pressure to the screen may interfere with the touch from the stylus pen.
