Q: How do I steer Blaze while playing a Lane Racing Activity?

A: You have the option of steering Blaze with the Thumbstick or using Tilt controls. When using the Thumbstick in controller mode, move the Thumbstick left or right to steer Blaze. To use Tilt controls, carefully tilt the controller left or right like a steering wheel. Tilt controls can be used when the controller is folded, or fully extended.

Q: What are Power-ups in the Lane Racing Activity and how do I use them?

A: Power-ups are used to help Blaze collect more Golden Tires. Collect Power-ups by driving through them. There are three different Power-ups that can be collected, represented by icons (a magnet, a shield, and a power bar) hovering on the track.

Q: My Child can't beat Crusher during Lane Racing. How can we beat him?

A: Crusher is defeated once Blaze collects enough coins to fill his Blazing Speed meter in the upper right corner of the screen. The meter is filled by collecting coins. Be careful though, hitting objects on the road or driving through water and oil slicks will cause Blaze to lose coins. Collect enough coins to fill the meter, when it's filled the meter should flash. When this happens, press the A Button on the controller to activate Blazing Speed and leave Crusher in the dust!

Q: How do we access Multiplayer?

A: You will need to have two LeapTV controllers to play in Multiplayer mode. Please note, in order to pair a 2nd controller to your console, you will need to first navigate to the LeapTV home screen and pair the controller there (this only needs to be done one time). You cannot pair a 2nd controller from within the Blaze game.
To pair a 2nd controller, navigate to the LeapTV home screen, then hold down the Home and Hint Buttons on your 2nd controller for 3 seconds until the blue LED turns on. Now press the sync button on the front of the console. Wait a few seconds for the light on the second controller to turn magenta, then off. Once your 2nd controller has been synced, you can launch the Blaze game and select Multiplayer mode from the main menu.

Q: How do we play through the mission based Story Mode?

A: From the title's main menu, select the Single Player play button located near the top right of the screen (the icon includes an image of Blaze and no other characters). If this is your first time playing, you will launch immediately into a video intro, followed by gameplay. If you have played previously, this will take you to a new menu with three big buttons. Select the top-most button which will take you into the Mission select screen. Once you are in the Mission Select screen you will be able to choose any unlocked mission to play.

Q: My child really likes to play in the Stunt Track with Darington and doesn't want to do anything else. Can he only play in the Stunt Track?

A: Yes! From the title's main menu, select the Single Player play button located near the top right of the screen (the icon includes an image of Blaze and no other characters). If this is your first time playing, you will launch immediately into a video intro, followed by gameplay. If you have played previously, this will take you to a new menu with three big buttons. Select the bottom right button, this will bring you into a menu for the Stunt Track activity. In this menu there are two big buttons, one is for Stunt Track Free Play, and the other is for Stunt Track Challenge Mode. Free Play will allow your child to build any Stunt Track they can imagine by placing unlocked Stunt Track pieces. Challenge Mode is a preset level where the player is challenged to place the correct pieces on the track get Darington to the end of the Stunt Track.

Q: My Child likes to only play the Lane Racing game, and doesn't want to play anything else. Can he only play the Lane Racing game?
