LeapFrog takes safety very seriously and strives to create products that deliver higher levels of safety and reliability. Li-poly batteries are used widespread today in many of the electronics that people use, because they give you a long battery life in a compact, light-weight design. Plus, you can recharge them at any time without having to discharge them fully. To increase the safety of the product for your child, the lithium rechargeable battery cannot be removed from the product. For your safety, never try to remove the battery. While charging the device do not cover it with objects such as a blanket, pillow or your child's body. Never allow your child to sleep with, or on the device while it is charging.
